All good things come to an end. By that they give space for the next. I decided to stop the cycling in Albuquerque and to change from two wheels to four. It feels very strange to change my mode now. It makes me sad. I loved the touring on my bike. But during the last week my mind, my body and my bike said: “It’s enough now.” I don’t want to push it against my guts.

And driving will give me the opportunity to see southern Texas AND Washington D.C. AND Williamsburg (and so much in between) during the remaining 4 weeks until my plane flies out. Not to forget that from the beginning I wanted to spend the last week in and around Fort Lauderdale with my local friends there.

Considering the serious touring-cycle-part as finished the final stats are:
